E-Verify
01/08/08 — Effective January 1, 2008, all Arizona employers are required to verify the employment eligibility of new employees through the E-Verify program. The E-Verify rules require employers who use the program to post the E-Verify Participation poster and the Right to Work poster. This is a mandatory change.

11/30/07 — The Arizona Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage. The state minimum wage was increased to $6.90 an hour effective January 1, 2008.

Minimum Wage
07/06/07 - The Arkansas Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect a change to the minimum wage rate for gratuities and specific exemptions were updated.

Colorado
Fair Employment
06/17/08 — The Colorado Fair Employment poster was updated to reflect new protected categories under Colorado's Anti-Discrimination Laws. The poster now states that discrimination is prohibited in employment based on "retaliation for engaging in protected activity." In housing, discrimination is prohibited based on "sexual orientation" and "retaliation for engaging in protected activity." In public accommodation, discrimination is prohibited based on "sexual orientation" and "retaliation for engaging in protected activity." The poster was also reformatted and the name of the Executive Director of the Department of Regulatory Agencies and the name of the Director of Civil Rights was added to the poster.
Colorado Minimum Wage — Spanish
01/18/08 — The Colorado Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage. The state minimum wage was increased to $7.02 an hour effective January 1, 2008. The minimum wage for tipped employees also increased to $4.00 an hour effective January 1, 2008.

Connecticut
Minimum Wage (Administrative)
08/28/08 — The Connecticut Minimum Wage poster (Administrative) was updated to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage. The state minimum wage will increase to $8.00 an hour effective January 1, 2009 and will increase to $8.25 an hour effective January 1, 2010. The state also added gratuity allowances to the poster; 31% for waitpersons and 11% for bartenders both effective January 1, 2009.

12/18/06 - The poster was updated to reflect an agency name change. The Office of Managed Care Ombudsman was changed to the Office of the Healthcare Advocate.
Minimum Wage (Hotel/Restaurant and Mercantile) 02/10/06 - The minimum wage has increased to $7.40 an hour, and will increase to $7.65 on 1/1/07.

District of Columbia
Minimum Wage
07/10/08 — The District of Columbia Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect an increase to the state minimum wage. The state minimum wage will increase to $7.55 an hour effective July 24, 2008 and to $8.25 an hour effective July 24, 2009. The poster was also updated with information about the District of Columbia's new Accrued Sick and Safe Leave Act of 2008, which requires employers to provide paid leave to employees for illnesses and absences associated with domestic violence or sexual abuse. The poster was also updated with information about the Living Wage Act of 2006 and the Enhanced Professional Security Amendment Act of 2008. The state also added the address for the Department of Employment Services to the poster.

03/06/2007 - The District of Columbia Fair Employment poster was updated to reflect two new protected categories that the District approved and the Mayor signed into law last year. These categories are "gender identity or expression" and "genetic information." The District also consolidated their fair employment, parental leave, and family and medical leave posters into one poster.

Minimum Wage - (English and Spanish) 10/27/07 - The Florida Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage. The state minimum wage was increased to $6.79 an hour effective January 1, 2008. The minimum wage for tipped employees also increased to $3.77 an hour.
Fair Employment 04/13/06 - Language has been added to the poster in response to changes to the definition of "public accommodations" in the Florida Civil Rights Act.

Workers' Compensation Part 3
08/09/07 - The Georgia Workers' Compensation Part 3 poster was updated to reflect an increase in the maximum weekly income benefit from $450 to $500 and an increase in the temporary partial disability benefit from $330 to $334 per week.

Hawaii
No Smoking
12/14/2006 - Hawaii passed a law that prohibits smoking in essentially all enclosed workplaces. Employers are required to post "no smoking" signs. The signs must read "smoking prohibited by law" or show the international "no smoking" symbol.
Notice to Dislocated Workers 05/19/06 - Informs employees of their rights to be notified of possible layoffs or terminations due to certain business transactions taken by their employer. This is a new poster.
Military Leave 05/19/06 - Informational poster notifying employees of their rights under USERRA. This is a new poster.
Minimum Wage 05/19/06 - The state consolidated their minimum wage and wage payment posters into one poster. The new poster was updated to include information on Hawaii's family leave law.
Fair Employment 05/19/06 - Informational poster summarizing employees rights under Hawaii's laws prohibiting discrimination in employment. This is a new poster.

07/13/07 - The Idaho Unemployment Insurance poster was updated to reflect an agency name change. The agency name changed from the Idaho Department of Commerce and Labor to the Idaho Department of Labor.

Minimum Wage — English
06/21/08 — The Illinois Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage. Effective July 1, 2008, the minimum wage will increase to $7.75 an hour. Also effective July 1, 2008, the minimum wage will increase for employees under 18 to $7.25 an hour, for employees who receive tips to $4.65 an hour, and for employees under 18 who receive tips to $4.35 an hour.

01/07/08 — NEW POSTER — Illinois recently passed a law that prohibits smoking in places of employment. Employers are required to post "no smoking" signs.

10/16/2007 - The Illinois Unemployment Insurance poster was updated to reflect a change in the weekly benefit amount. The poster was also updated with additional information regarding determining an employee's base period.

09/24/2007 - The Illinois Unemployment Insurance poster was updated to reflect that employees can now file an unemployment insurance claim online or at the nearest Illinois Department of Employment Security Office. A claimant's weekly benefit amount was also changed from 49 percent to 48 percent.

Minimum Wage
08/06/08 — The Indiana Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect that tipped employees must receive at least $9.83 an hour for all hours worked over 40 in a work week. The state also removed the 2007 minimum wage of $5.85 from the poster. The poster now only reflects the current minimum wage of $6.55 an hour and $7.25 an hour effective July 24, 2009. The state also added Indiana Code Title 22, Chapter 2 to the poster.

Iowa
No Smoking
06/12/08 — Iowa recently passed a law that prohibits smoking in essentially all enclosed workplaces. Employers are required to post "no smoking" signs. The signs must contain the telephone number for reporting complaints and the internet site for the Iowa Department of Public Health. No smoking poster must be posted at every entrance to a place of employment. Employers can either post it on door or window that is visible to the outside.

05/16/08 — The Iowa Fair Employment poster was updated to reflect that employees now have 300 days to file a discrimination complaint with the Iowa Civil Rights Commission.

07/18/07 - The Iowa Fair Employment poster was updated to reflect two new protected categories under Iowa's Civil Rights Act. The state now prohibits discrimination in employment because of a person's
"gender identity" and "sexual orientation."

OSHA
10/11/07 - The Kentucky OSHA poster was updated to reflect that employers must now report incidents resulting in an amputation or the in-patient hospitalization of one or two employees within 72 hours.
Unemployment Insurance 09/13/07 - The Kentucky Unemployment Insurance poster was updated with additional information. The poster now includes a statement that an individual must be unemployed through no fault of their own to qualify for benefits. A new section was added to the poster that advises employees who are eligible for workers' compensation benefits that they may be able to use their wages before an injury occurred to qualify for unemployment benefits. In addition, the revised poster now advises workers who are working less than their full-time hours that they may be eligible for partial benefits because of lack of work due to work-related medical restrictions. Unemployment Insurance 04/19/07 - The poster was updated to reflect that employees can now file for benefits by telephone.

07/6/07 - The Louisiana Unemployment Insurance poster was updated to reflect one central toll-free phone number for the Unemployment Insurance Call Center. Minimum Wage
05/05/08 — The Maine Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage. The state minimum wage was increased to $7.25 an hour effective October 1, 2008 and to $7.50 an hour effective October 1, 2009. The poster was also updated to exempt certain employees from minimum wage and overtime requirements.

09/27/07 - The Maine Minimum Wage poster was updated to clarify the definition of a service employee. A service employee is now defined as an employee engaged in an occupation, such as waiter, waitress, and bartender, who regularly receives more than $30 a month in tips. Under the new definition, tips belong to the employee providing the direct service to the customer and employees cannot be required to pool or share their tips with other employees. The poster was also updated with respect to certain domestic workers and minimum wage and overtime pay.

11/10/07 - The Maryland Workers' Compensation poster was updated with additional information. The poster now states that withholding information or giving false information about any work-related activity or return to work could prevent an employee from receiving benefits and may subject an employee to fines, imprisonment or both. The poster is also now bilingual and must be printed on goldenrod or yellow paper. This is a mandatory change.
Unemployment Insurance 04/27/06 - This poster has been updated to indicate when employees must report earned wages when returning back to work and how to file unemployment compensation claims via the Internet.

Massachusetts
Minimum Wage
07/10/08 — The Massachusetts Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect the new law making triple damages mandatory if an employer is found to have violated the state's wage and hour laws. The poster was also updated to include information about the state's Small Necessities Leave Act and when travel time is considered working time. The poster was also updated to only indicate the minimum wage effective January 1, 2008.

09/13/07 - The Massachusetts Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect that the definition of wages includes earned vacation pay, holiday pay and definite determined commission. Information was also added to the poster regarding how employees may file a private lawsuit seeking back pay.

There is now a single application and permit process for all teen workers ages 14-17. Unemployment Insurance
07/16/08 — The Michigan Unemployment Insurance poster was updated to reflect that unemployed workers can now choose how to receive their unemployment benefits. Unemployed workers can choose to receive their unemployment benefits through either a debit card or direct deposit into the workers' checking or savings account.

03/20/08 — The Michigan Minimum Wage poster was updated to clarify that the 85% rate of $6.29 is valid between July 1, 2008 and July 23, 2008. Effective July 24, 2008, the minimum wage will increase to $6.55 to coincide with the federal minimum wage. The poster was also updated to clarify the definition of tipped employees.

Child Labor 02/02/06 - The minimum wage has increased in the following categories: for "small-employers" to $5.25 an hour; for "large-employers" to $6.15 an hour; for "training-wage" to $4.90 an hour for employees under age 20 during the first consecutive 90 days of employment.

E-Verify and Right to Work
06/19/08 — Effective July 1, 2008, Mississippi employers are required to use E-Verify, an Internet-based system operated by the federal government that allows participating employers to verify electronically the employment eligibility of their newly hired employees. Fair Employment
07/14/08 — The Missouri Fair Employment poster was updated to include a toll-free discrimination complaint hotline number and the full address for the St. Louis office.

01/02/08 — The Missouri Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage. The state minimum wage was increased to $6.65 an hour effective January 1, 2008. Employers of tipped employees are required to pay tipped employees at least 50% of the minimum wage, or $3.325 an hour.

07/6/07 — The Nevada Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage. Effective July 1, 2007, the minimum wage rate for employees of employers who provide qualified health insurance benefits will be $5.30 an hour. Employers who do not provide qualified health insurance benefits will be required to pay employees a minimum wage of $6.33 an hour.

No Smoking 05/25/06 - New Jersey recently passed the New Jersey Smoke-Free Air Act which prohibits smoking in essentially all enclosed workplaces except for a few specifically named exceptions. The Act requires that a "No Smoking" sign be prominently posted where smoking is prohibited. This is a new poster.
Child Labor (English and Spanish) 04/24/06 - These posters have been updated to include an increase in penalties and fines for violations of the state's child

North Carolina

08/01/08 — The North Carolina Minimum Wage poster was updated with the current minimum wage of $6.55 an hour effective July 24, 2008 and $7.25 an hour effective July 24, 2009. The minimum wage an employer may pay to a tipped employee was decreased to $2.13 an hour, so long as each employee receives enough in tips to make up the difference between the wages paid and the minimum wage.
Radiation Notice to Employees (for Healthcare workers)
07/14/08 — The North Carolina Radiation Notice to Employees was updated with new contact information for employees to use to file a complaint with the Employment Discrimination Bureau of the North Carolina Department of Labor. Additional information was also added to the poster on how employees can request an inspection from the Section Chief of the Radiation Protection Section.
Minimum Wage
07/31/07 - The North Carolina Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect changes to the base wages for tipped employees and an increase to the state minimum wage. Effective July 24, 2007, an employer may pay as little as $2.43 an hour to tipped employees as long as each employee receives enough in tips to make up the difference between the wages paid and the minimum wage. Effective July 24, 2008, employers may pay as little as $2.13. Further, in North Carolina, employers are required to pay the higher of the state or federal minimum wages. So, the state minimum wage will remain at $6.15 an hour until July 24, 2008, when it will increase to $6.55 an hour.

Pennsylvania
No Smoking
08/27/08 — Pennsylvania recently passed the Clean Indoor Air Act, which prohibits smoking in essentially all enclosed workplaces except for a few specifically named exceptions. Beginning on September 11, 2008, smoking is not allowed in public places or workplaces. The law requires employers to post no smoking signs.
Radiation Notice to Employees
07/16/08 — The Pennsylvania Radiation Notice to Employees was updated to reflect that employees must report immediately to their supervisor or the Department of Environmental Protection if they observe a violation or possible safety concern. The poster was also updated to state that employees may be personally subject to enforcement action if through deliberate misconduct an employee causes or attempts to cause a violation or deliberately provides inaccurate or incomplete safety information to their employer or the Department of Environmental Protection.

07/10/07 - In addition to the Federal Minimum Wage posting change, the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage poster was updated to reflect an increase in the state minimum wage for small employers (those who employ 10 or fewer full-time workers). The minimum wage was increased to $6.65 an hour effective July 1, 2007, $7.15 an hour effective July 1, 2008, and $7.25 an hour effective July 24, 2009. The poster was also updated to reflect an increase in the 60-day youth training wage. It will increase to $5.85 an hour on July 24, 2007 and to $6.55 an hour on July 24, 2008.
